Christian Von Eschersheim - Sommernachtstraum ,LP,1980,Germany
Nice electronic record ,released through SKY label in 1980.Described as "Krautrock electronica", and it's quite right. Another great release of Berlin school electronics, though i would preffer it a bit darker.
In the past, I've listened to and enjoyed many things from your amazing blog. This album however...
It reminds me of the happy/mellow music in some old sega genesis games (i.e. Lion King) but without the nostalgia of the game itself. Not what I want to listen to. Ever.
Oh well, some hit and some miss. This is still a great blog. Thanks for the effort!
May I suggest the releases of one USA synth pioneer called SourceCodeX ~ start with the Primordial Lands Arise release ~ one reviewer said it goes beyond the benchmark of Rich and Lustmord . . .
Dude,
ReplyDeleteThis is so rad. Like kraut disco or something. "Sunny" could be an outtake from a La Düsseldorf LP with that motorik beat.
Do you have Peter Backhausen's "Planet Show" ??? It's also on Sky, and to the best of my knowledge has never been released on CD.
GREAT blog. Keep up the excellent work.
