This is Koji Ueno from Halmens and 8 1/2 and Jun Togawa from Yapoos (she did some backing vocals on the second Halmens album too). Ueno followed this up with Keiichi Ohta's "Jingai Daimakyo" (Ohta did album art, lyrics and general concept for this and the Guernica albums, but doesn't actually perform aside from a short voice-over). It's similar in style but better produced (not shitty home recordings), and features several guest singers (including Haruomi Hosono, Keiichi Suzuki and Koichi Makigami). Koji Ueno's 1985 "Music For Silent Movies" is another essential. There were 2 more Guernica albums recorded in an orchestral style.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3262584283674109553.post-21818125751521259152011-07-17T11:46:16.601-07:002011-07-17T11:46:16.601-07:00Is it me or the sound quality is really crappy and...Is it me or the sound quality is really crappy and nobody noticed? :-pDJ Bon Goûthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01760258837726815101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3262584283674109553.post-21535564485174581822011-07-15T05:52:26.224-07:002011-07-15T05:52:26.224-07:00Actually got a copy of this rather individual disc...Actually got a copy of this rather individual disc....got it from Recommended Mail Order in the eighties.
