Holding the middle ground between two equally staggering (and capital "G" Groovy) musical tendencies of the period, this debut album by French psych/prog guitarist Markusfeld rides a dizzying seam between the borderline-exploitation-psych sensibility of Wolfgang Dauner's Rischkas' Soul and Oimels albums and the mad post May '68 French countercultural carnival atmosphere of their contemporaries in Moving Gelatine Plates, Maajun and (especially) Martin Circus. Almost deliriously wonderful...
