Very Nash The Slash-like high energy synth driven arty new wave classic from this Orange County, California unit that was featured on the seminal minimal synth comp "The Up Another Octave Selection". Note: despite what the jacket indicates, tracks 3 & 4 on side B are banded together and listed as one track on the label.

Wow- a friend of mine found this in a Pittsburgh Salvation Army and I never ever thought I'd heer of this again...
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this tremendously - anything else by them? (or similar)
ReplyDeleteThank you in anticipation.
Wow, I'm floored. I started playing bass in Null & Void just after they recorded this record. Hearing these tracks brought back lots of memories! Thank you very much for posting the files.
ReplyDeleteI bought this album at Tower Records in Brea, California (Orange County) when it came out. I still remember the girl behind the counter saying "Oh no.. your not buying that are you?". She wouldn't tell me why she asked and mumbled "Those guys" shaking her head. I love this album and still have it. I guess the same question goes, were there any other songs recorded after this?
ReplyDeleteThe vocalist was my roommate! He lives in West Hollywood CA, and has some stuff they recorded afterwards, plus a bunch of material recorded by the other members.
ReplyDeleteI can pass on the contact info if anyone is interested...

ReplyDeleteI had this record in my second-hand record store in Berlin back in the mid-eighties. I only remember we tried to sell it for very little money but nobody wanted it. Couldn't appreciate it, but today I do! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI lived in fullerton it was friends with 1 of the band members I got a complete copy from the master tape before the album was released.
ReplyDeleteany chance for a re-up??? thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt is the year 2014 and I have cleaned out my loft finding this album. When we lived in the City of Fullerton, my sister dated Stuart Barnes for a brief time. We also knew the band members of Agent Orange. Great times during the 1980s
