Sound-splicing French studio trickster employing gibberish vocals at varying speeds, middle eastern cadences and instrumentation, and proto-electronica sound manipulations galore in creating a Residents/Nurse With Wound at a Sufi ceremony collage.Wonderful stuff!
Though the Checkpoint Charlie is another I did locate, this Ghédalia Tazartès item has been very elusive. Thought I had it in my cross-hairs, but it outfoxed me on each attempt.
ReplyDeleteThank you, SO much...as usual I am complete psyched to hear this. You have completely taken over my playlist.

There's been another recent release by Tazartes on the Jardin Au Fou label and an earlier one that gets overlooked on the Demosaurus label
This isn't the Checkpoint Charlie referred to by the NWW list - that one is the German one. Different groups.
