ReplyDeletei've got TG 'sacrifice' (released in '86) which sounds very similar and has virtually the same track listing.. anyone know if 'sacrifice' is an edited-down version of 'thee psychick sacrifice' or actually a different thing altogether????
actually "sacrifice is:"A subset of 'Thee Psychic Sacrifice', slightly remixed, live at Ajanta Cinema, Derby, England 12th April, 1979.

Just to be really anal - the 'Sacrifice' subset has a different (and superior, IMHO) version of 'Chat Up', taken from their '79 show at Sheffield University

Also both records "Sacrafice" & "'Thee Psychic Sacrifice' are from the same show, with the exception of that one track as described above. Also the difference between both recordings are the edits between the tracks, the seperation of the track "Eeh Ahhoooh" (not seperate on "Sacrifice") , the listing of "unknown/Day Song" and the difference in sound quality on both releases.
