DIE DOMINAS-S/T, 10", 1981, GERMANY




Stunning and super suave Neue Deutsche Welle percolating electropop experimentation offset by superb effected femme vox in a way that sounds eerily close to the work of France's Braque (posted on MS by moi a few weeks back). One of my all time favorite NDW records!

    Thanks a million for this. I heard this ages ago in a dj mix, found out what it was, and then had it saved in my eBay and Gemm searches forever, but I don't recall it ever popping up on either (at least for an affordable price). This copy will do me well until find the hard copy that is waiting for me in some yet undiscovered cut out bin ;)

    Joe Seph-Thats something I had no idea about. I must be missing an insert or something as this info is not written anywhere on the jacket. Anyway, thanks for letting me know. It's kind of amazing that this 10" has gotten so little attention considering that!

    I only discovered that because I'm always very curious about the music & musicians I know here & elsewhere. I'm very interested on your uploads of 12" & 7" of NDW, japanese & electronic stuff ...and crazy / demented music in general.Thanks a lot ...

    I've seen the Kraftwerk reference on a few sites when I was hunting for this. Apparently they are also responsible for the chord structure and subsequent naming of the release. Cool little story, read here :)
