Genuinely startling post-everything post-rock from a German crew aligned with the Van Bebber/Lemke/Muller improv axis (Van Bebber and Lemke guesting here on tapes and record players respectively), that while not necessarily sounding like This Heat, strike a not-dissimilar posture between explosions of songform and extended passages of pregnantly expectant strafed atmospherics.

ReplyDeletethere is also a double 3" CD on Helmut Lemke's own label editon el c. cat # 12010/12011, it was recorded in june 93 and released later that same year and is well worth tracking down.
real good paranoid gem! they learned very well the nowave/THESE catalog lesson and put it in the post rock-electroacoustic age
