Issued in a microscopic private edition of 65 copies (50 originally, than a re-issue of 15 more, of which this is one) back around the mid-90's and sounding remarkably close at times to the Two Daughters LP that Steve Stapleton released on United Dairies, this glutinous slurry of taffy stretched and multi-tracked turntablist manipulations finds Italian mystery unit Collettivo Haim folding smeary slowed down slabs of noxious 80's/90's pop fodder into one another to surprisingly far more winning effect than such a description might suggest.

nice work guys! seriously experimental turntablism work, (sometimes near to work of Claus van Bebber, Philip Jeck, [by deep maybe ambient sound] Otomo Yoshihide, Tetreault, ErikM, Marclay [by crackle loopy electronics sound] etc...)
ReplyDeleteThis says Haim is from 1985:
