Though I'm far from an expert on the man's vast body of work, the doings at hand on this, one of Otomo's earliest releases (following a tape in the late 80's and a collaborative LP with Junji Hirose; also coming soon), seems fairly distinct from much of what comprises his main body of work, amounting to some sort of simultaneously cyberpunk-tinged (think Dissecting Table) and cartoonishly vibed (think Ata-Tak label NDW) art rock dada scramble thats both highly persuasive and intensely disorienting.
