Coruscating spastic crash and burn from two masters of the form. Yoshida's c.v. is vast and by far the more well known of the two, heading up 1001 experimental rock units over the years, most notably Ruins (whose collaboration with Jason Willett I posted last week) and Koenjihyakkei. In Molecules mainman Anderson, Yoshida's met perhaps his ideal domestic counterpart, as the two trade off their trademark riff shatter and octopoidal drum tactics in a way that frankly sounds almost verbatim like Ruins music proper, albeit on a loose night.
