ENERGY-S/T, LP, 1974, SWEDEN

Wedding hard rock grit to their jazz rock chops, the stylistic choices made by these obscure Swedes have more simpatico with Yugoslavian underground fusion efforts of the era (think Den Za Den, September, R. M. Tocak, Tihomir "Pop" Asanovic et.al) than anything their countrymen were getting up to, and it's the precise sort of jazz rock attack that's increasingly been occupying prime position at vdoandsound HQ.

  1. Hey Eric!

Does the review mean that will the music of Vas Deferens Org. be more jazz-rocky in the future. Still you haven't answer my question reg. general availability of VDO music at "certain" sellposts. OK, I assume you probably explain that in another thread but I'm too lazy to go check them all.

    Cheers! Nenad

  3. I was referring to these lines:

"and it's the precise sort of jazz rock attack that's increasingly been occupying prime position at vdoandsound HQ." But maybe it wouldn't be bad to crosspolinate the sound of Suspension with some j-r elements. No? Oh, nevermind. E-mail on the way.
