HOT TROCHE-MUNAA POYU, CD, 2001, JAPAN

Following The Cooking Errchestra, here's the second in my series of posts of releases on the enigmatic Cha-Bashira label (though this is actually on their Pink Rabbit sub-label). Housed inside a cute little towel, Hot Troche's giddy and mercurial ADD-addled electronic spasms sound like light speed deconstructions of the cartoontronica idioms explored by the likes of Dat Politics and Stock, Hausen & Walkman. A relentless dadaist brain hammer and a barrel of monkeys for those so inclined.
