CHALIBAUDE-LES NOCES DU PAPILLION, LP, 1976, FRANCE

Truly lovely rustic/folkloric and occasionally quasi-celtic sounding gamboling and capering French folk prog, touching at various times on everything from the magisterial and gothically haunted sounding acid folk-ish moves of the Broselmaschine/Emtidi/Hoelderlin wing of the krautrock scene to the dewy-eyed anthemic folk rock of Canada's Harmonium and rollicking trot of Muck Groh and Belgium's Nuit Caline A La Villa Mon Reve.

  2. Track 7 seems to be missing. Last track indicates 6/7. Maybe there is no Track 7. Another blog which has posted this LP says there is no Track 7.

  3. anonymous-Actually, that track 7 thing was a snafu that I failed to remove. It amounts to nothing more than 4 seconds of silence on the CDR burn of this I had. Actually, the link on the Ezhevika Fields is dead, not active and has been so for a long while, which is why it's been re-upped here. Couldn't imagine this one staying lost to history any longer....
