CONTACT TRIO-DOUBLE FACE, LP, 1975, GERMANY



Following my post of their stunning second outing "New Marks" and since the link for this album has been dead for a while elsewhere, here's this German unit's debut outing and it's another gorgeous and snake-y slipstream of stoned jazzy ethno-psychedelic meanderings, though here their negotiations of this terrain are if anything even more elusive, drugged and slippery than on their follow-up, skewing the vibe here even closer than "New Marks" to the stoned immaculate moves of their countrymen in Dzyan.

    A nice discovery for me, thanks MS ... but track three seems to end very suddenly in mid-phrase, is this right?

    I find it hard to believe as well that Track #3 is only 3 minutes long. No way to tell, I don't think, since this LP is not listed on discogs.com or any other site.
