As attentive Wire Magazine subscribers will likely have discovered by now, "Trick Or Treat", the debut LP by Shits And Giggles, Ariel Pink's new band together with Vas Deferens Organization (the little 'ol band that I'm a member of) is to be available on VDO's new label Free Dope And Fucking In The Streets by the tail end of this month, with the formal launch of websites for the band as well as for the label to be unveiled simultaneously. Stay tuned...

Word is out on the street that Ariel and VDO called in 2/3 of the jazz trio Yells At Eels to guest on a few of the tracks...is this just rumor, or is it true?
ReplyDeleteYells at Eels kick fuckin' ass, they are so damn sick.
Anonymous-Yes indeedy, both legendary free jazz trumpeter Dennis Gonzalez (most recently featured on an archival release on Qbico) and his son Aaron are guesting on three tracks a piece on this album. And yes...Yells At Eels kick ass all over the room...
