KILLING TIME-BILL, CD, 1990, JAPAN

Having posted their three incredible previous releases with great fanfare and much hyperbolic spieling and having mentioned that this one was soon to follow, I was unprepared for how far afield this (recently acquired) final release of theirs would stray. Peripheral bits of sonic malarky still infect the fringes of some of these pieces, but whereas their previous albums frottaged the occasional fuzak move against the grain of their mad post-prog machinations, "Bill" represents a full scale leap into the land of dubious and slicked up jazz-lite, though as this was promised and as I've posted the rest of their discography (save the "Bettinchi" compilation LP they appear on...anyone have that?) I'll offer this up for your own perusal and analysis. As mentioned earlier, the strangeness is still there (at least in part), for those willing to dig deep for their pleasures and/or those who've had the tops of their head blown off by their previous recordings and don't want to lack for a note of Killing Time's oeuvre, but don't even consider downloading this one until you've steeped yourself in the warped genius of their prior work.
