Bill Bruce-Changing,Mini LP,USA, 1982

Fantastic minimal synth by one called Bill Bruce, released through Interior records(possibly private label) in 1982. I have first introduced this artist in the "tribute to some bizzare vol.10 " compilation (that i have compiled myself actually),with the song "chanching" and here's the full mini LP. Seems (sadly) that this was his only output.Bought it in late 90s in a used records store for almost nothing (i think was less than 1 Euro!) but seems to be mch sought after lately fetching up prices higher than 200 USD.

  1. Thank you! Tribute to some bizzare (not only vol.10) was fun to listen to! What about 'This is not rock 'n' roll ... this is masochism!'? That was way fun to listen to (only low bit rate, though)!

  9. There's also a 7" by this artist ... I got my copy from the artist himself a long time ago but as he realized his music is available in the net as mp3s he went very angry and he's not interested any more in giving/selling them.

  11. Any chance you can post stuff somewhere other than Rapidshare please? It keeps getting clogged up with users, lately...

  12. There is an even more obscure Bill Bruce 45 out there also... he was from Fargo North Dakota, and he put out his own records.

  17. hi, my names jose
ive been following this blog since 2006

    I googled BILL BRUCE
because I have a rare VHS
with children's animations completely scored by him.
Its from my mothers collection and since my childhood the music has naturally pushed my ears and haunted me with its blissful electronic pop style.
    Should i post it?
Is that something you'd want to see?

Its about 20 short kids animations with original Bill Bruce music.

    Cheers!!!!!

  19. Any chance of a reupload of this one? My aunt bought this back when it came out and is looking to get a copy of it again. She was just diagnosed with lung cancer and I'd love to be able to get a copy to her before too long...

    Thanks.
