DOING MY VERY BEST WITH THE RAPIDSHARE SITUATION

But, alas it's still an uphill battle. I've been diligently at work shifting files onto new accounts, but I know a lot of you are still running into the dread new "file owner's public traffic exhausted" message, and this with three accounts currently housing files. There's been an even greater stress on Mutant's files, as both the interview on the Awl and the Red Bull playlist drew a lot of new people to the blog. In light of this, I'm just remaining in full-on blog repair mode for the next "x" number of days instead of getting new posts up. Those will come in about 4-7 days, but my main focus at this point has to be rescuing Mutant from running up against these download walls I keep getting messages about people encountering. Please be patient and bear with me as this crap gets tended to...

These days are difficult. You have given us the opportunity to hear sounds we would never have heard before.

If Rapidshare changes it's business model (again) all of the re-uploading is for nought.

I wish I could keep everything on my blog alive forever and the time may come...but it feels somewhat oppressive at the moment...but soon...perhaps

The collective (myself included) can contribute to rebuilding MS at a later date.

Press on with the new insights.

Have you ever considered using Archive.org instead of Rapidshare?

Generally I don’t read post on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very forced me to try and do so! Your writing style has been amazed me. Thanks, very nice blog.

There are so many solutions to your troubles, several listed in the "coping w/ rapidshare tactics" comments below. I think you must just enjoy whining. Red Bull are weak & worthless + this blog is RAPIDly becoming lame & obsolete. You have no integrity. Perhaps you should take a break & go digging for some new content/fresh perspective. Jim's not around anymore to post 200 albums a month anymore & I defintely hear the footsteps. Your 15 minutes is nearly exhausted. Continuo definitely disirved it. RIP

I'm a latecomer to this forum. I've found some fantastic obscure music on here. Just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work. Please keep reupping but don't have a nervous breakdown doing it! Ignore the negative comments.

it's real simple...stop using Rapidshit.

Would you consider making a gigantic-mega-everything torrent as a last-resort backup in case maintaining the site becomes impossible?

I admire your commitment to the cause. Thanks so much for what you've shared and thanks for your sheer dogged determination not to let the bastards grind you down. Thank you so much.

lol@ yr crapidshare situation, slave. not only is yr public traffic exhausted, but they continue to implement new tricks to fuck everyone over. now go move yr shares into another folder :)

Seems that was all a wasted effort, as now Rapidshare comes up with a message that download is denied by the uploader. This means no free access at all now, only if you have an account and are logged in

what about using
https://mega.co.nz/

50gb per account and supposedly much safer
also super fast!
