WARNING-ELECTRIC EYES, LP, 1983, GERMANY

Here's the seriously choice cheeseburger follow-up to Jim's post of this uber-campy German unit's electro/Italo/synth pop/space disco debut, whose glorious ridiculousness bears that unmistakable ripe aroma that heretofore I'd believed to be solely exuded by French late 70's/early 80's cosmic disco kitsch purveyors like Video Liszt, Rockets, Henri-Michel Raschle and Jean-Pierre Massiera (particularly circa his work on the eponymous second Visitors LP), but no...the gorgeously garish admixture they get up to here (replete with all the mock sinister vocoder spieling and and unctuous disco-era Goblin melodrama you'd expect) is virtually larded with such Gallic fromage signifiers. It's also damn near indistinguishable in vibe to their debut, which oughta plaster shit eating grins on the mugs of more than a few of you, considering the onslaught of adjectives that ensued after Jim upped their debut. Thanks to my buddy Steve Kenney from Demons for providing this sick and essential piece of the puzzle.

Oh, well here's a thing. I was listening to the last LP again just this very day.
Let me tell you, folks, heavy manual labour accompanied by a Warning record is quite the experience.

Thank you, I really love this album, just as good as the first one.
If you have the Mark Lane "Male Nymph" album from 1987 can you please post it,
Thanks a lot

Even though I really don't care for this band still...your efforts are always appreciated. It has really amazed me that there has been that much music to keep all these blogs running so long. I had no idea that there was so much beautifull music in the world:)

Yo dudes, I would love to hear Roberto Cacciapaglia - Sonanze

For such a classic it is odd that this record is nowhere to be found, unless Polydor shuts this stuff down, please post if you got it!

The vocals are amazing....like the totally awesome grandpa you wish you had, blasted after his sixth rum and coke, sauntering up to the karaoke machine, and never, ever stepping down as the audience screams "more! more!"

Also, the cover reminds me of the Polish poster for the film "Alien," which had the same ribcage-with-eyes image.
Thankyou.

As supposedly many do, I always listen to the stuff you post to discover new musical "worlds". I somehow missed listening to Warning's first album which I will make up for. Cannot thank you enough for this one and, as always, your fantastic description!

I found this at a flea market yesterday. I have to say it is easily one of the most strange and repellent things I've heard in some time. Who was Warning's audience? Did they do concerts? The mind cannot quite grasp!

Didn't really acare for this much. I liked the last album that v.i.s.t.i.t.o.r.s did better. THanks for the efforts of course though :)
