The Chemistry Set-st,tape,1987,UK

Something different now. Chemistry set was one of the most promising UK neo-psych bands, and this is their first and possibly finest release on Acid Tapes(a subsidary of Imaginary records).Great Syd Barret,Beatles influenced psychedelic tunes all through. Lysergic vibrations for mushroom eaters!

Great to see this here. The Chemistry Set were a fantastic live band and I remember that one issue of Freakbeat magazine had a flexi-disc with three great short songs of theirs one. The two singles that I heard of theirs were kind of disapointing, but I'm still looking forward to renewing my acquaintance with their sound.

Interesting. There was a Seattle band of the same name. Active circa mid-late '80s.

Thanks! Great Neo-Psych. Some Syd influence is in "Postman"... Loving it - once another discovery worth listening over and over. Ta'ra!
