Trek with Quintronic - Bi Plane & Landing LP's

Fine debut album by minimal synth duo Trek with Quintronic which featured the style they had crafted, sort of a minimal synth take on Scary Monsters-era David Bowie mixed with other ingredients as well.

Classic minimal synth record by Trek w/ Quintronic, which was the better LP of the two they released. An enjoyable album from start to finish, and I think "Zolian Space" is certainly the coolest track they ever did. If you've made it this far without this one in your collection, you're doing something wrong.
Needless to say that these are 2 of the crown stones in the early 80s minimal synth scene!

You are AWESOME! and so is this site! I've searched for this for over 22 years! This brings back memories of when this used to play on a college station in the town where I live....Many Thanks!

I still listen to the 1981 LP from time to time, and I enjoy listening to it every time! I didn't even know they had another LP. I guess I'll have to track that one down now.

I'm so glad to see these guys getting some attention now, and that people who want to listen to their music can now do so. For years, if you'd Google them, you'd get nothing! But now, you can get their whole music catalog! Their second album is a true classic. It had been a forgotten classic but thanks to enthusiasts like you, it's not as forgotten as it was!!! Thanks! (from a fan who lived twenty miles from them, who has enjoyed their music since way back then!)

Just came across 5 sealed copies of the Landing LP and 1 sealed copy of Play It Loud in an antique store that sells vinyl in the back. I live in Lansdale, PA, which is also where the store is located. Look at the back of the second LP, where it was pressed... 416 N Broad St, Lansdale, PA 19446. And the Landing LP was pressed in Perkasie, PA by "Quintrek Music"... Wtf? I live in the 300 block of Broad, this was pressed a block away from my house. Who knew! No wonder the guy had 5 copies still sealed. We were in ecstasies when I pointed this out to him today. I can't believe such wonderful music came from right where I live, NOTHING cool ever comes out of this town! :)

Don't get into this one, tinny sound, weak songs and so derivative. Sorry.
