These UK 1978-1982 compilations have some astoundingly good music -- how about a complete list of your top 10 favourites?!

Thunderboys, from this compilation album, feature Carmel McCourt on vocals, who subsequently achieved chart success with her band Carmel. Hit singles including "Bad Day" and "More More More", and a stack of albums, three of which made the Top 100 album chart.

Meanwhile, another band on Houshold Shocks, FAULT 151, feature a good lad called Ilx on bass, who was in the year below me at 6th Form. He was only 14 when this track, "Radiation Man", was recorded.

We (Mystery Girls) recorded our track in about March / April 1980 at Stark's studio in Lincolnshire. It made us sound a bit like the Prats, which maybe wasn't a bad thing ...

Product of Reason fully deserve their three tracks, Sinking Ships' 'Weight Loss' is the best Gang of Four song not by the Gang of Four, and why wasn't the Defectors' 'You Only Laughed' massive?

Merci pour cette compilation assez riche dans l'ensemble (et également aux commentateurs et leurs messages intéressants) !
