SATELLITE-S/T, 12" EP, 1985, FRANCE

A seriously stunning minimal synth treasure that builds from good to great to fantastic to "holy shit!" by this EP's finale. Martin Rev, ADN' Ckrystall, and Dark Day would all be reasonable enough reference points here, but so too would be to cite some of the disco-proggy bits of something like Georges Grunblatt. Or B.E.F. at their most slicky well oiled (Groove Thang, for example).

A really great find here, where minimal synth colides with jazz and frat-rock. Mucho appreciated!

Maybe you have more TagoMago releases? (mainly a cassette label, if I remember well...)

And many thanks for your excellent blog,

Kramboy
