THE NOMADIA-RANGE OF VISION, LP, 1971, AUSTRIA

Recorded on acid in a cave and divided into "smoke" and "acid" sides, this sincerely fried album (well...the acid side anyway...) is a zonated cavernous assemblage of hissing and groaning electronic generators, bongos, flutes and overlapping electric/acoustic guitar layers that sounds like it would have been equally at home in Conrad Schnitzler's Zodiac Free Arts Lab. This album exists in three editions that I'm aware of: a) a 100 copy original, b) a 100 copy early 90's bootleg reissue c) this bootleg reissue at hand, with a different cover to the 90's reissue and an unknown edition size (obviously small...never seen another example of it offered anywhere...)

Like the OZ Days Live double LP, it's better to ignore half the material on this one.

Request:
NEIL FEATHER - REVELATION OF AN ANAPLUMB [PRIVATE RELEASE, US, 2002]

It died on 19414243445. How on earth do you keep your links alive for so long?

Great blog.

My request is "Give the Vibes Some", an album on Palm Records (Palm 010) with Khan Jamal and Christian Vander.

Thanks.

Joe Seph-right you are! it's not. Funny how time and memory can play tricks on you, as I would have probably placed money on the fact that this record was on the NWW list, but having just checked, well...apparently I've just hallucinated it all these years! The "list" was something I used to constantly refer to "back in the day" but having long since heard my way through it's contents (barring one or two titles) and gotten sorted on what I did or didn't need from it, the minutiae of the list occasionally escapes me nowadays...

Yarro, Seal Pool & Marc-Wish I could help on these but I've not got any of these (used to have the Danger LP but sold it)...Mr. Mutant?

Great blog. How about "Worlds Within Worlds?" the first one.

I sort of remember hearing that this album was actually recorded in the 80's and passed off as an original...sort of like the Damenbart album. Anybody else know anything about this?

Do you have any old Chrisma stuff?

vdoandsound : it doesn't matter ...on the list or not on the list ... what matters it's the music, right ? Thanks for it ...

MrCrispOneDollarBill- I'll try to get to that Kirchin a bit down the line. Requests are stacking up here...

Anonymous1-Never heard anything about this potentially being bogus. Sure sounds legitimately "period"

Anonymous2-Chrisma? Don't recognize the name.

nor for me:

please help.

Hmmmm....I've no idea at all why that happened. Anyway, I've re-uploaded it and fixed the link. Hopefully it'll stay up this time...

The Nomadia were a bunch from Vienna. They recoreded the album from 1969 to 1971, but the tapes got lost. Years later half of the tapes were found. So this LP was privatly released in 1977 the first time. Band member Reinhard Pugl told me that the more interesting tracks got lost...so this is sadly kind'a second choice.
