RAUL LOVISONI & FRANCESCO MESSINA-Prati bagnati del monte analogo,LP,1979,Italy

Great album produced by Franco Battiato based on Renè Daumal 'Le Mont Analogue' unfinished novel in wich the author describes a mountain of our world, so high that its summit reaches another plane of existence The music of this album is an exact compendium on such rise: drones and overtones, repetitive patterns, deep meditative feel, spaced atmospheres; a gem!

I've had a hard time downloading this for some reason. Twice it timed out at 91%. Weird. Anyone else have a problem with it?

Thanks for the post anyway.

What a gem indeed!! Instantly became a new favorite. Music for Airports meets Organum to my ears. This masterpiece was reissued in October '07 as a limited edition Japanese pressing of 500 in a papersleeve mini-LP replica. It can be obtained from Musicstack and Amazon from $26 to $40 USD. Absolutely great sound and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thanks again and again Jim
