Cannot comment on all tracks but - This came out just after the party in Bromley Park to celebrate the Royal Wedding (Charles & Diana)
PRAXIS were meant to be playing there but the timing went over and they got squashed out for Splodge
I have this sleeve but no record!
I was one of the 'People of Praxis' (never say die) & named on the back of sleeve - where is everyone now- I remember that Nick Chown joined 'the Bolshoi' but what happened to Ian, Keith and Jerome??
Also does anyone have 'Sounds So False' by Murder Incorporated??

A few bits of info about praxis.
Jerome left early on and was replaced by Steve from Aquila.
Praxis recorded a track, Mirrors in my Eyes, for Rusty Egan which ended up on a compilation, don't know what it was called.
After this Nick joined the Bolshoi, I think Keith and Ian formed the Circus. Ian later played in a band called, I think, the Lost Loved Ones.

Actually, Barry was never in the band, but was one of the crowd at the time...good bloke...had Siouxsie Sioux on the back of his leather if I remember correctly.

Know nothing about Barry but Keith and Ian Joined up with Dave and Duncan from Vex to form the Circus. The Praxis track ended up released on a compilation called "Freedom to Rock"(available for download from i tunes etc.) along with tracks by Spizz, The Cheifs of Relief and Politburo. As Praxis no longer existed, it was credited to The Circus. The Circus did not release any more material.

Is there anyone out there that would know, which one of these bands changed there name to (I think it was) "Teknica" and then changed to "The Jive Syndicate" and the bass players first name was John? Big ask i know.

Burlesque changed their name to Jive Syndicate.

I was their manager when they recorded Collision of Sex at a studio under the Borough Market near London Bridge.

Not sure who the John Bass player was as I'd left by then, but they had synth and drums exclusively at the time of From Bromley with Love.

Great days!

Cheers Steve
