DAMENBART-KARMA & GNADE, 3" CD, 2004, GERMANY

Initially making the rounds as a for-friends-of-the-band-only private release (much like yesterdays posts of Die Trip Computer Die material), this work by HNAS' hippy alter ego Damenbart evidently finally made it onto a "proper" release a few years back, as I was to discover, thanks to wmmberger's immediate comment made moments after posting this album under it's initial title "Message To The Hippies". Thus, both sets of covers are included here. Anyway, the pseudo-kosmiche shenanigans from Impressionen '71 are very much in evidence here, though to this set of ears, "Message..." sounds far more like the legitimate article then their LP. Mystical, cavernous and enveloping, some of this sounds like Vibracathedral Orchestra playing in a grain silo.

Not sure about the origins of the CDR, but this very same piece was issued legitimately by DOM Elchklang as a limited 3" CD a few years ago, under the title Karma und Gnade.

Cool - glad to help. These posts have really been incredible, especially the rare cassette and CDR material. Big thanks also for the Nord LPs. Keep it up!
