PANGEE-HYMNAMONDE, CD, 1995, CANADA

This Quebecois unit created beautifully wrought prog poignancy during their brief existence, with a sound that perfectly nails the plangent symphonic Floydianisms of France's mighty Pulsar, a feat of sufficiant gravity for me that I'm even able to overlook the fact that this crew were reputedly known to employ mimes in concert (evidently, harlequins are hard to come by in Canada), a grievous offense normally requiring immediate exile to neoprog hell.

Highly recommended! I've had this album for a year or so and it is some great KC-esque music.
