DOUGLAS BREGGER-VAMPIRE RADIO, 12" EP, 1991, + CRYSTAL ARCADE, LP, 1988, USA

As requested by Jim. Much like the work of Peter Chatam, I'd qualify Bregger's recordings as "real people" collectables for the minimal synth market, as painfully awkward as they are occasionally fascinating. Bregger's acutely wince inducing pronouncements and vocals (possessing the wit of Luie Luie and the accomplished technique of Jad Fair) cluelessly intrude on what are otherwise fairly worthwhile forays into 70's style electronics from someone who seems too have heard his fair share of Heldon and Tangerine Dream.

I have been kindly asked to remove these links. In their place, may I suggest heading over to the Fusetron site and supporting Bregger by purchasing Crystal Arcade, which they're still selling on his behalf. Their superb site can be found Here
