TOTO BLANKE'S ELECTRIC CIRCUS FEATURING STU GOLDBERG-FRIENDS, LP, 1979, GERMANY

Excellent and hard to peg synth saturated proggy jazzrock which is both a follow up to Mr. MS' post of the first Electric Circus album from a few months back and a follow up to yesterday's post of Aktuala, as this also features the amazing percussion work of Trilok Gurtu. Both more airy and light in approach then their jaw dropping Heldon-like debut, this material strokes a different set of neural pleasure receptors, ones more receptive to feathers than hammers.

Elegant lovely stuff. The S/T Vortex is a winner too.

Just finished listening to Toto Blanke's "Spider's Dance" which I downloaded last week. It's just amazing. I've three Association PC LPs I have enjoyed for almost 25 years. I'm now going to check out his Electric Circus releases. Many thanks for the posting.
