V/A-ALPHABETICAL UPLOADS OF WHACKED OUT SINGLES PT. 9

EVIL MOISTURE/COMMODE MINSTRELS IN BULLFACE-S/T, SPLIT 7", 2001, UK/USA
British nutter Andy Bolus cuts a swath of his patented lo-fi dadaist tape collage cacophony across the A-side of this curiously packaged split single (wonder if they all came with Clive Barker comics attached?) while Caroliner Rainbow offshoot Commode Minstrels In Bullface help extend the ergot poisoned Caroliner aesthetic into zones of insular and twig rustlingly organic improv praxis across the flip side.

EXPANDED MUSIC COMPANY-TU SCENDI DALLE STELLE, ONE-SIDED 7", 1982, ITALY
This Italian mystery item (an accompaniment to some sorta theatrical spectacle, if memory of an old auction description serves) leads listeners in on the faintest vapor trail of ghost melody before forcefully sucking them through a wormhole into a dystopian psychotropic dimension of synth stacked malevolence straight out of the Heldon playbook. Staggering.

FACTRIX CAZAZZA-PRESCIENT DREAMS/ZANONI, 1983, USA
I'm not entirely clear on what Monte Cazazza's role is here (having not closely followed his activities), but the vibe on this fascinating single largely correlates with the eerie and slightly subterranean sounding post-psychedelic probings that this San Francisco experimental outfit proposed on their superb Scheintot LP (posted by Jim a while back), though the narration on Prescient Dreams and the Wurlitzer beat that underpins the latter half of Zanoni help give this single a distinct scent.

FAHNLEIN FIESELSCHWEIF-S/T, 1981, GERMANY
Cheerfully lopsided and sometimes mutant funky Neue Deutsche Welle post punk playfulness pitched somewhere between Tom Dokoupil's work with Wirtschaftswunder and Silouettes 61 and the C.U.B.S. single I posted back in an earlier installment of this 7" series.

FAXED HEAD-S/T E.P., 1992 + SHOW PRIDE IN COALINGA/THE COLORS OF COALINGA, 1993 + NECROGENOMETRY E.P., 1993, USA
A demented triptych of dada garbled death metal detournments from this Bananfish-approved mob of pranksters.

FIBO-TRESPO/PHONOPHANI-KADOK?/END OF ALL THINGS-SPLIT 7", 2000, NORWAY
Terrific split between these two notable Norwegian experimental projects; Fibo-Trespo (aka Sindre Bjerga and Kjetil Brandsdal) cutting a delightfully unstable path across the A-side with their pitching and listing loop wobble-and-synth-puncture assemblage, while the gorgeously organic and defocused abstract electronica that Alog member Espen Sommer Eide's constructs under his Phonophani guise wraps your brain in nocturnally undulating tides of half-faded thrum, rustle and muted pulse across the B-side.

Jim, I think you are the only one who can help me. In 1987 I sold my Trisomie 21 vinyl album "Chapter IV" to buy the CD -- only to find out that it had been re-recorded and remixed. Can you provide the original vinyl rip? I have been looking for more than 20 years now ... Thanks in advance!

I have a Fibo-Trespo tape if you would like me to upload it?

Would you be interested in hearing Caroliner "Rear End Hernia Puppet Show"? I just ripped it from vinyl.

the gosub routine-Sure...It'd be great if you wanted to share that. Just email the link to pantheonbar@gmail.com after you're through uploading it. Thanks!

Psy. Guy-Thanks for the offer! I was considering posting that one shortly, so good call. Actually, this debut of theirs is perhaps the only one of their LP's that I'd planned to post, as it's the only one of their albums that isn't kept
semi-permanently in print. as I'd mentioned to The Gosub Routine above, just send the upload link to
pantheonbar@gmail.com when you're done upping it...

Love these posts! Thanks.

is it just coincidental that the same analog synth pack-in beat occurs in multiple tracks? Or has someone messed with these mp3s... it is a popular beat so i'd imagine its probably the former. anyway, thanks a lot, been waiting on this installment for so long! these posts are one of the greatest parts of the blog.

Please use mediafire instead. Rapidshare's dl limits are annoying.

Not this again. You must be a newbie to the blog. First of all, Eric doesn't even use Rapidshare; he uses ShareBee, which gives you FOUR (count them: 1, 2, 3, 4) options - not just Rapidshare.

And Jim will likely never use anything but Rapidshare, for reasons he's already stated many times in the past.

Thank you so much for these ones!

One little correction:
The Fähnlein Fieselschweif Songs "Ein Reh (im Lichtkegel stehend)" and "Kinderparty" have been confused.

Amazing. The Evil Moisture/caroliner split was one of the first Birdman Records releases. So cool to have it up there.

Thank you so much for all of these, being a fan of sorts of factrix and Monte Cazzazza this one in particular. As far as Cazzazza's role in that single it sounds like that's him in the spoken word section on Prescient Dreams.

You people are a bunch of obnoxious freeloaders. Tiny labels are folding up show at an epidemic rate as no one is buying anything anymore, just stealing. See how you like it when the only thing you have left to listen to is Justin Timberlake.
