DOWSER-TELECOMA, CD, 1997, JAPAN

Cyberpunk prog? Well...sorta...in a way. Trying to articulate the thrust of Dowser's pummeling but somewhat inscrutable vision is not an easy job, their relentless constructs foregrounding massed agglomerations of churning synthetic whizz-bang (both analogue and digital in a big hellbroth) against a precise prog-intensive-if-not-prog-in-substance structural headfuck, though they're just as prone to throw said structure to the wind and fall into a slagheap of deconstructed electronic churn or take a running dive into a pool of electro-funky cheesiness. Baffling and fascinating in equal measure. Note: this lengthy CD has been divided into two parts.

As much as I enjoyed the other Dowser you posted, this one is really blowing me away and I'm only 5 tracks in. Great post.
