CHRISTOPH HEEMANN-MAGNETIC TAPE SPLICING, 12" EP, 1997, GERMANY



This short but utterly essential clusterfuck of detourned dadaist cut ups of easy listening kitsch was something of a swansong for former HNAS member Heemann, who would promptly abandon the world of the madcap for the more evanescent sonic universe of Mirror right after this late 90's EP. Imagine Sylvie and Babs slowly being sucked into John Oswald's roaring data thresher...

Oh, neat. The second track uses big hunks of "Hey You in the Crowd" by Harpers Bizarre. I love that song.
