THE GOVERNMENT-HOW MANY FINGERS?, 12" EP, 1981, CANADA

Following Jim's post of their 1980 LP a while back, here's this Canadian post punk band's follow-up and final release. Lopsided skank shot through with fierce little tenrils of tweaked-to-the-gills-avant-guitar-filigree immediately announces something of note is afoot. The trifecta of scrabbly jittery funk-inflected tracks that ensue over the B side are a fairly winning proposition as well.
