SUBJECTS-S/T, 12" EP, 1982, USA
This super obscure private press of wonderfully spazzy new wave herky jerk sounds almost exactly like a combination of Suburban Lawns and Devo. Anyone into the aforementioned should have a complete blast with this one.The only other copy I've ever seen of this went for over $100 on ebay, which I suppose makes 99 cents for mine a pretty good deal...

I've been wanting to hear this for ages but could never find a copy. Thanks for posting it!
Yep, 99 cents for me as well (thank you, Amoeba Hollywood) but there's nary a shred of info on it - doesn't even say where exactly they're from. Anyone know anything?
Wow, thanks for uploading this absolute gem!!

There's a Subjects video from a 1981 episode of New Wave Theater on YouTube: some folks in the comments section say that they were from Glendale and the female singer was a 17-year-old high school student and the male singer was her 30-year-old English teacher.
Thank you Stewart!!
And that video is incredible...
Stewart-Yeah...a big thanks from me as well...that video IS pretty incredible, especially since that track's not on this EP, though now I'll never be able to get that moustachioed dude's cheeseburger visage out of my mind when I listen to 'em!
I just scored one for 99 cents too! But somehow my copy ended up in a Goodwill in tiny Marchall, Texas?!
Can we get a re-upload of this?
