JEAN-PHILIPPE GOUDE & OLIVIER COLE-JEUNES ANNEES, LP, 1976, FRANCE

Frankly astonishing keys and drums jazzy prog duo featuring the awesome zeuhl ivory tickler Jean-Philippe Goude (soon to join Weidorje). What's transpiring here has one foot in the zeuhl pool (in a way that's very Benoit Widemann by way of George Jinda) and one in tidal pool of woozily synthified rubberiness and maddeningly catchy cyclical synth patterns that'll be orbiting around in your skull for days after.

Hey I really like your blog a lot. I have had it bookmarked for quite awhile, and just recently decided to set up one of my own in a similar idea of posting reviews and suggestions about random non-mainstream music. I'd love to have you post some suggestions or comments if you ever have a chance to take a look...there isn't much yet but I hope to change that soon.

its at www.defectivetapemachine.blogspot.com.

Thanks! and keep up the awesome work!

I am a JP Goude fan, so thank you for this stupidly rare record! Do you happen to have another 70's rarity by him called Meli-Melodies (or something like that)? Anyway, thanks again
