STOCK, HAUSEN & WALKMAN-GIVING UP WITH STOCK, HAUSEN & WALKMAN, CD, 1995, UK

A non-stop fiesta of audio malapropisms and dadaist disruptions discontinuously stitched in Frankenstein-ian fashion for your amusement by these much-missed pranksters. This was their first CD release, preceded by a tape I've searched in vain for years for (anyone out there got it?) and represents a rather more rude, fragmentary and disjunctive phase of their creative work, sometimes coming off a bit like People Like Us being dissected by Bladder Flask.

thanks a lot, vdo!

their recordings are very difficult to come by. i only heard a few things on compilations, so it's a pleasure to find this full-length at mutant sounds.
