V/A-DUTCH DIFFICULT MUSIC, LP, 1985, NETHERLANDS

A stunning compendium covering a wide-ranging swath of Dutch experimental music activity of the era from Remko Scha and Harrie De Wit's abstract installation-based soundworks to Loos' Curlew-esque Downtown NY sounding avant jazz bippity boop. Pride of place here goes to the wildly joyous circus-y R.I.O. of Noodband, whose track always leaves me jumping around the room and the truly sick dialogue between avant chanteuse Moniek Toebosch and the Dutch master of zapping and blurting self-made electronics, Michel Waisvisz.

TRACK LIST:
1. Motobs-Low, Low Spirit
2. Harrie De Wit-Thin Cities
3. Peter Zegveld-Dynamica Tumultus (Fragment)
4. Noodband-Sono Koubaly
5. Niew Hip Stilen-Mud
6. Remko Scha & The Machines-HGM2
7. Jacques Palinckx-De Kameramachine/Do The Doomdoomdoom/Het Huilen Van Urjge/Blind/Meer Groeten
8. Loos-Edge
9. Moniek Toebosch & Michel Waisvisz-Killpik

Well Thanx!

Good to see Jacques Palinckx somewhere 'cause he's a very underrated musician.
Anyway, the music here is always amazing!
