Totally unknown, and very rare(yet not that expensive when it comes up) DIY /post punk LP ,by this fantastic group released through Gymnasium records in 1984.Further releases a 7" (Warehouse sound) on the same label.Another obscure gem!

this group was from Ireland and that's all i know about them. It's totally unknown to irish themselves."Warehouse sound" was a good company those long cold years. Greetings and many thanks
I was the guitarist from this band. I'm Irish, the band was based around Stoke on Trent in its later years, but this album was recorded when we lived in London between '82 and '83. I'm proud of this record because it was made at a time when there was some awful music being made in England and a bad political undercurrent of Thatcherism, but I think the music stands up as unique. I'm chuffed you like it too.
I don't have the LP but I have the 45, its brilliant! Enshrined In A Memory, what a classic, a good few years a head of its time. Everyone I've played it to wants a copy! No higher recommendation than that surely.
A great record, a great post, but maybe after almost five years and with the re-release about to come out on Acute Records it's time to take it down? Out on vinyl and up on iTunes by the first of December, so on and so forth... --Michael
I was unaware of it's impending reissue before you mentioned it, but I've just now pulled the link for it as a result of that. Nice to know that this will now formally be seeing the light of day again soon!
Hi PJ. It's so great that as a middle aged man I can still be thrilled by such amazing records like this one the way I was when I was young.I guess it's my favourite post punk record ever, and I've spent half of my life listening to everything out there.
With the backlog of dead links accumulating with some frequency now, it's time for me to finally begin the long-overdue process of syste...

I am after the LP on vinyl still though.

Thanks so much. Don't know if you'd want to post this link or not on the home page, but there are some free samples of the remastered material here:

And the band has a Facebook page up and running. They'll be playing in NYC early December.
