Kiem-st,LP,1984,Netherlands

A very strange avant-garde/aynthpop album featuring a quirky saxophone, onimous vocals and caveman-like drumming. As weird as new wave gets.Reminds me a synthy James White jam with Dark Day's keyboards and Don Van Vliet's voice.Excellent!

i tried downloading kiem from rapidshare and zshare but both .rar don't work. i did a few others on this excellent blog and most of them worked fine, some didn't. what might be the reason?

This is a great LP I discovered a couple of weeks ago on a vinyl run. The post keeps me from having to rip my album, yes, but the Mystery Poster is a little sad to have been beaten to another terrific 1-2 music-punch-snack again. I'll have to dig deeper. . .

By the way, all the drumming is done on metal things, lots of tugboat parts.

Kiem was a specteculair live band. I've seen them several times in France.

Obviously Kiem invented the (industrial) house/dance music!
