Karelia-Suomi Pop,1970+Suomi Pop 2,1971,LPs,Finnland

Rare and strange finnish psych folk albums by Paroni Paakkunainen and Jazz guru Edward Vesala. Actually this is taking Finnish Folk music as a base and turning it into a wild mix of tribal Progressive with blitzes of Fuzz Guitar and heavy Acid Leads, weird percussion, violin, flutes and off beat vocals.. The players are: Armas Nukarainen (Seppo 'Paroni' Paakkunainen), flute, violin, soprano saxophone; Aslak Nunnu (Ilpo Saastamoinen), guitar; Pedri Sirmakka (Pekka Sarmanto) bass; Iivana Nyhtänköljä (Edward Vesala), drums, vocals.Don't miss them!
